Description
carbon black (eng. Carbon black) — dispersed amorphous carbon material produced by combustion or thermal decomposition of gaseous or liquid hydrocarbons. Good electrical conductivity is achieved due to high structure and a developed specific surface. These figures are significantly higher compared to the standard reinforcing classes. OMCARB™ C140 gives conductive properties of rubbers, plastics and synthetic fibers.
Application: Used as a conductive additive and as a rubber reinforcing filler in the manufacture of power cables, sheath wires, conveyor belts, transmission belts, antistatic floor coverings in medical facilities.
