Kerzhensky Reserve and Moss Mountains - excursion

The reserve was created in 1993. on the territory of Borsky and Semenovsky districts, on the left bank of the Kerzhenets river. The purpose of its creation is the preservation of natural complexes of the Nizhny Novgorod Trans-Volga region. Here are located wetlands of international importance - the Volga-Kama group of wetlands. The area of the Reserve - 470 sq. Km - more than the territory of the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
