Brass is a copper-based alloy, can be two-component (copper and zinc), and also multi-component (for example, copper, zinc and tin). Brass bar is distinguished by possessing high technological properties, in particular, good machinability and formability. Products made from rolled brass are used in many industries, such as auto parts and appliances, pipes, nuts and bolts, and much more. Brass alloy grades most commonly used in industry: * L63 - simple brass (double), allows deformation by deep drawing, rolling, drawing, bending, embossing. L63 brass is used for the production of rods (extruded, hard, soft), various types of wire, tapes, and extruded pipes (brass L63 GOST 494-90). * LS59-1 - lead brass, which processing is performed by pressure. Brass LS59-1 is used for the manufacture of profiles, wire, rods and other semi-finished products, as well as a variety of fasteners and ingots with a round cross-section. * L68 - double pressure treated brass, perfectly amenable to cold deformation. Brass L68 is made of hard and soft cold-rolled strip, wire and soft tubes. * L80 - double brass. It has the same properties as L68, but at the same time it is practically not prone to corrosion cracking. Scope - semi-finished products (sheets, ribbons, wire, etc.), as well as art products and musical instruments.
