Description
Khoroshenin D.A. - a graduate of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and Folk Crafts of the Kasli branch of the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic College (1999). The model of the sculpture Soldier with pigeons was made in 2005, for the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. A young man in a soldier's uniform, with a machine gun behind his left shoulder, a guard sign and two medals on his chest, he feeds the pigeons: two birds are depicted at his feet, and the third, with outstretched wings, pecks grain from the palm of his left hand. The stand is rectangular, low, with a relief of paving stones on the surface. The Kasli plant has been casting the sculpture since 2005.
