Mesh gas separators are intended for final purification of natural and associated petroleum gas from liquid (condensate, water hydrate inhibitor) in field gas treatment facilities for transportation, in underground storage facilities, as well as at gas processing and refining plants.
The temperature of the working medium is from minus 30 ° С to 100 ° С.
The content of the liquid entering the gas separator with gas should not exceed 200 cm3 / m3.
The entrainment of liquid from the gas separator is not more than 20 cm3 / 1000 m3 of gas within the allowable initial content in the recommended range of operation of gas separators.
Gas separators can be installed in the I-V geographical areas with seismicity up to 9 points inclusive with the requirements in accordance with SNiP P-7-81 and SNiP 2.01.07-85.
Two types of gas separators are manufactured:
* cylindrical vertical with a housing flange connector, with a diameter of 600.800 mm for nominal pressure from 1.6 to 8.8 MPa;
* cylindrical vertical with a diameter of 1200 mm for nominal pressure from 1.0 to 6.3 MPa; 1600 mm for nominal pressure from 0.6 to 4.0 MPa; 2000 mm for nominal pressure from 1.0 to 2.5 MPa.
Gas separators are made in two material versions:
* steel 16 HS (for areas with an average temperature of the coldest five days a week not lower than minus 40 ° С);
* steel 09G2S (for areas with an average temperature of the coldest five-day week not lower than minus 60 ° С).
If necessary, gas separators can be manufactured with heat treatment, to increase the corrosion resistance.
The service life of at least 20 years for gas separators to be heat treated from the condition of corrosion cracking of the metal, the service life is 12 years.
